The Bibliography of Italian Studies in Poland contains publications of scholars conducting their research in the field of Italian studies at Polish universities. The publications included in the database meet the following criteria: 1) type of publication: monograph, edited volume, journal article or book section (peer-reviewed publications); 2) Polish affiliation of the author; 3) subject: texts relating to Italian studies in the broad sense (language, literature, cultural relations, contrastive studies, etc.), as well as theoretical texts (general linguistics, theory of literature, etc.). The bibliography contains a complete list of publications of scholars who now actively carry out research at Polish universities, as well as texts published by many researchers who are no longer employed by Polish institutions (more than 3800 items, many of which have links to the full version of the text). It is an open access resource whose purpose is to promote research, exchange knowledge, as well as encourage new research groups and initiatives.
